Leslie Ro, ASW
Therapist
As a therapist based in Southern California, I offer virtual therapy services throughout the state, catering to children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds. My practice employs a client-centered approach combined with strengths-based and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) methodologies. This allows for tailored treatment plans that are both effective and time-efficient, aimed at meeting your immediate needs and long-term goals.
I hold a Master's degree in Social Work from California State University, Northridge. My commitment to advocacy and community service was recognized during my graduate studies with the Susan Aldwell Memorial Scholarship. I also received the NASW Region G Social Work Intern of the Year award for my dedication to the field.
Creating a secure and accepting environment for clients is a high priority for me. I have a particular interest in raising mental health awareness and reducing stigma, notably within the Asian American community.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking with my dog, Jonie, and experiencing the Southern California coastline.
If you're looking to focus on your strengths, identify immediate solutions, and work towards your future objectives, I am here to guide and support you.
